WH ATEX SS C4 QP Combined Chain Hoist and Push/Geared Trolley
The William Hackett Atex Combined Chain hoists and trolleys are designed, manufactured and proof load tested in the UK. Supplied as a complete assembled unit, the top hook is removed from the Chain hoist and is replaced with a bespoke hanging plate. This plate allows the bars on the trolley to suspend the hoist and reduce lost headroom. It complies with the requirements of ATEX Directive 2014 / 34 / EU and Machinery Directive 2006 / 42 / EC. We have analysed all components of the C4 hoist and identified the components that have a potential spark risk. A spark can be generated from fast moving components such as the pawls on the ratchet gear. The WH ATEX C4 chain hoist uses surface technology to develop the components making it safe to use in hazardous environments. We provide a full range of spare parts and can offer training on safe use and inspection.

- Proof Tested: 1.5 x WLL.
- Safety factor: 4:1.
- Temperature range: -40°C to +135°C.
- Track width range: 70mm to 305mm (2.8 inches to 12.0 inches). Trolleys available with standard (range 1) or extended (range 2) trolley bars to fit a range of beam widths.
- End stops: Fitted as standard.
- Anti-tilt: Fitted as an optional extra.
- Attachment: Hanging plate fitted into ATEX chain hoist.
- Spark resistant: Copper plated components, copper plated wheels and stainless steel handchain help mitigate the risk of creating a spark.
