BLACK SNAKE – KEVLAR RECOVERY STROP

Black Snake Kevlar® Recovery Strops are built tough for mining, military and heavy-duty towing. A safer, lighter alternative to chains and wire rope, they offer low stretch and recoil. The outer rubber sheath provides exceptional durability and resistance to the elements.

Description

Features

  • Kevlar load fibres offer very low stretch (4%)
  • Ultra high strength to weight ratio
  • Abrasion/cut resistant rubber protects the Kevlar from the elements and keeps out oil, water, mud and dust
  • Specially designed steel eyes suit attachment to shackle pins, hitch pins, and G Type couplings

¹Break strength is the applied load at which the recovery strop fails.
²Maximum GVW is the maximum recommended gross vehicle weight of the severely bogged vehicle for a given tow strop.
³Severly bogged vehicle is judged a vehicle which is resting on its axles or chassis. The vehicle is being dragged with no rolling of the wheels.
