WH C4 Adaptable Chain Hoist
The William Hackett Adaptable Chain Hoist is designed, manufactured and proof load tested in the UK. Whilst the same base model as our C4, this Lever Hoist has adaptors fitted into the top and bottom hook housings. The clevis adaptor allows for 360° rotation and lateral pivot enabling greater flexibility. Hooks such as clevis self locking hook or clevis shackle can be fitted onto the adaptor which can provide a more secure fixing than the standard hook with latch. We provide a full range of spare parts and can offer training on safe use and inspection.

- CLEVIS TOP AND BOTTOM HOOKS: Adaptors fitted into hook housings allow clevis style end fittings such as Hack8 Self locking hook or Clevis shackle.
- BESPOKE ADAPTORS: Allow 360 degree rotation and 180 degree pivot. This improved functionality helps hook engagement.
- LIGHT LOAD CAPABILITY: tested and certified at 2% of the chain hoist rated capacity.
- TWIN PAWL: fitted as standard.
- SAFETY LATCHES: hooks are fitted with heavy duty cast steel latches. The latch and hook tip are integrated creating a strong and robust hook closure.
- HAND CHAIN JOINER: a unique hand chain joiner is used as a quick and secure method of joining the hand chain.
- HOOK HOUSING: secured with socket head cap screws/hex head bolts and nyloc insert locking nuts to allow full inspection.
- FLEETING/CROSS HAULING: independently tested (test report 2550-7615) for fleeting or cross hauling applications up to 45° from the vertical without deration of the WLL.
- LOAD CHAIN: fitted with load chain that fully complies with international standard BS EN818-7 Grade T (8).
- OVERLOAD LIMITER: available as an option upon request.
